Fish Flavoured Ice Cream?

Dave had his first bath (outdoors) of the year today! He also had some ice cream (not his first of the year). He also chased a fish (toy) for about 2 seconds until every stick within sight became more exciting. He also got some water in his ear, became covered in sand and met a horse. And all that in the space of an hour or two!

Oh, he also displayed some of his madness to a crowd of people waiting on a tram! On the patch of grass next to the tram station he performed his trademark 'run like mad in a circle as fast as possible' trick, much to everybody's enjoyment, young and old alike. It's a stable crowd-pleaser that never fails to entertain.

Maybe if I eat some grass it'll think I'm a horse as well?
Maybe if I ignore it, it'll go away and stop being so large and scary?
I see a fish.
I found a fish.

Nom nom!

The simple joy of a chin scratch after a hard day of madness.

Dave found the Easter Ducky.

The days for the Easter Duckies, Bunnies and Chocolatey eggs has begun!

And finally Dave is ready to join the USS Enterprise, to be the most handsome, intelligent and fearless Captain of all time! His uniform and charm can knock over a green bitch or two. His skills to fly & fight will stun! His eyes can kill the enemy with just a glance and his sense of humour won't leave anyone cold. His name is Captain Dave T. Dog and he's ready to go where no paw has gone before.

Take off.
There's...something out there...on the wing.

Crash Landing!

Spring, spring, spring little Davey boy!

Spring is finally here! Shiny sunshine and glistening lake surfaces. Dave demanded to get a new bling-bling Disco collar, to show who is the real King of the dance floor. Happy dogs run, jump and dance the fastest!

Nothing to see here.. DUCKY!
Easter is soon here, so we went Easter Ducky hunting. To catch one it's essential to have fast legs and a lot of "sisu", because if you miss the Ducky, you are not going to get any suprising yummy eggs the whole year!

Ducky, would you dance with me?

Final Showdown: Davezilla Vs Megaduvet!

It was an eager crowd that pushed and tripped each other to swarm around Davezilla's final battle against his evil nemesis Megaduvet. Who can forget the time when Davezilla was just Puppyzilla and Megaduvet came crashing into his village and destroyed all the harvest?! Many a member of Davezilla's family went hungry and his brother had to leave the safety of the gentle village, where he'd never known crime nor disease, and venture out into the harsh, unforgiving wilderness to try and gather food and materials for his aging parents and younger brother; the wide-eyed and wet-nosed Davezilla. The brother was never heard of again but packages would arrive with rice and money every few months, enough to keep the family alive.

Watch the videos below and try not to be affected by the brutality, the blood, the tension and the inhumanity, oh the inhumanity!

But don't worry too much, rest assured that Davezilla avenges his village with skill only known to the highest trained and purest of mind and later has a nice lie down upon the defeated beast that had once threatened his very existence.

Epic Muffin Baker by Royal Appointment.

So it's been a while since The Royal Forest Muffin Baker has had a blog update. Winter has been and gone and came again and is not really sure whether it's going or staying, much like the protagonist in a popular song from the '80s.

Nothing of note has really happened to warrant a blog entry, Dave's life is gently cruising along without any major waves. That could be news in itself perhaps? As no news is good news.

Rabies! Dave has started Rabies treatment, that takes over 4 months to complete. He's had his second injection and now has to wait 120 days before he has to send some of his blood to Germany where they check to see if the antibodies are in strong enough numbers to give him immunity. Germany does that kind of thing apparently. Once the Rabies shield has been raised it will give Dave the ability to travel to various countries including Finland and Europe in general.

Here is a picture of Dave being epic for your visual enjoyment.

Kickspark Test Run.

With so much snow on the ground Elisa got excited and bought a kickpspark. It took a few weeks to arrive and we were scared the snow would be long gone by the time the sled arrived from Finland. But no, the snow is still here in abundance. If anything there is more than before!

See below for a test run that we made today. Everything went quite well although it took some time for Dave to pull as he's been trained not to pull on the leash. Everytime he felt the kickspark tension he would stop but after a few tries he managed to get to grips with it. We are still waiting on the proper pulling harness to arrive, so hopefully when Dave has been strapped into that he'll be able to pull a lot better.

Oh, and Dave loved it!
